When Sprowston Heritage first placed details in the local paper for documents and photographs relating to the history of Sprowston they were overwhelmed with the result.

The IT Group and Reminiscence and Research Group continue to work on identifying, cataloguing and recording the material received.
A CD-ROM of images has been produced, along with various albums, booklets and postcards.

History is hard to recall as the ages pass, but it is vital to record the memories of individuals, and the archives of businesses and organisations.
Hence this website, which not only records the history of Sprowston but gives access to that information right across the world.
