Blithemeadow Drive is part of the Blithewood Development built in the 1960s. The only access to the development for vehicles was from Falcon Road although there are footpaths linking to the adjacent development based on Linacre Avenue. The photograph shows some of the houses at the Blue Boar Lane end of the road, most dwellings being bungalows both detached and semidetached .
